Make sure you check your ad this week. Andrea, a reader, emailed me and said her ad states Double coupons up to .50 cents. It's probably a misprint, but........ If I had one of these ads, I would take it with me to the store. The register is probably not programed to double to .50, but talk to Customer Service and see what they will do for you.

Remember:
1. Schnucks doubles coupons .40 and less in the St. Louis area.
2. Limit of 15 coupons doubled.
3. Ask for a rain check if they are out of a sale item.
4. On a B1G1 sales you have to buy two to get the deal.
5. Items on a 10/$10 sale ring up $1 each. You don't have to buy 10.

I menu plan on Sunday. Since the new grocery ads don't come out until the first part of the week, this forces me to plan with what I already have in the freezer and pantry. I then make my grocery list with the best buys and not a whole list of things I need. This way, I get the most for my money and use what I already have.
