I menu planned while standing in line to checkout at Aldi yesterday. It didn't take too much thinking, since we are not going to be home for three dinners this week.
Monday: Ham & Cheese Omelets, Orange Juice
- Monday's are a busy day for me. So, tonight's dinner is quick and easy with ham that I have in the freezer and eggs that need to be used.
- I picked up Sausage at Schnucks with the Wednesday Wow Coupon last week. I would much rather use sausage that than burger in spaghetti.
- Meat is provided and every family is to bring a side dish. I bought a couple of the $0.99 pineapples at Aldi this week to take as my side dish.
- The PTO sells pizza slices for a fundraiser during conferences. It's a great way for the PTO to make a few dollars and for parents/students eat dinner while waiting in lines to talk to the teachers.
- Two dinners with ham this week. I still have quite a bit of ham in the freezer from the sales after the holidays. I had better get it used, so I can buy more ham when they go on sale after Easter.
- I'll have to come up with something to take. Pineapple doesn't seem quite right for St Patricks day.
Sunday: Spicy Garlic Chicken (Wanchai Ferry Dinner Kit), Steamed Rice, Frozen Veggie
