Pick up some great hair products at Walgreens for very little money by combining a manufacturer coupon, Walgreens coupon and the Fans and Friends 15% discount coupon from Facebook.

Hurry! This deal works on Thursday and Friday only.

The Walgreens coupon is a coupon handout in the stores. Ask your cashier for the coupon flyer that says "Hurry! Savings good thru Dec. 24." Take a look at what it looks like HERE.

Note: The price at your Walgreens for John Frieda Root Awakening might be less. Some people are reporting they can get this product for $5.99 at their store. This deal is a money-maker if you can find John Frieda for that price - make sure you give the cashier the coupons in the order I listed and purchase something else to cover the overage.

Deal of the Day 12/16/09 - FREE Durkee Taco Sesaoning

The Schnucks I shop has Durkee Taco Seasoning in two spots - with the Mexican ingredients and with the dry seasoning mixes. For some reason, they didn't have a 2/$1 shelf tag on the seasoning in the Mexican aisle, but is was marked in the dry seasoning aisle.

Thanks, Kelly!

Deal of the Day - 12/15/09

Cheap Rimmel Lip Gloss at Walgreens

Rimmel Eye and Lip Cosmetics are 50% off this week at Walgreens and Walgreens has some Rimmel items on clearance. Combine the sale with the Rimmel $1 coupon in last Sunday's paper for a great deal.

Here is what I found at the Walgreens I shop:

Rimmel Lip Gloss $3.19 (clearance price)
50% savings -$1.59
Rimmel coupon from 12/13/09 RP -$1
Final price: .60 each

I asked a cashier to check and see if a clearance item was ringing up at half off and it wasn't, but she told me they would adjust the price for the sale. This is defiantly a time you want to check out at the cosmetic counter. If they have to adjust the price of your product, it will be a lot easier there.

Note: The 50% off sale is good on Rimmel Lip and Eye cosmetics and the coupon is good on any Rimmel product. Check your store to see if they might have any eye cosmetics on clearance also.

Deal of the Day 12/14/09

FREE Kodak FunSaver Camera at Target

Update: Target has changed the wording on this coupon to exclude one time use Cameras. If you didn't print the original coupon this deal won't work.

I posted this with Target's Deals, but didn't wanted anyone to miss it.

Kodak FunSaver Camera - $3.89
$5 Target coupon - HERE (picture on the coupon is of a blue digital camera)
Final price: FREE + maybe overage

I found this camera in the electronics department. I've heard other people have found them by the checkout lanes.

My $5 coupon scanned without any beeps and took the entire $5 off my bill. Target's coupon policy doesn't allow for overage, but rarely have I seen a cashier adjust the price of a coupon.

My cashier commented on how great a deal this was. I tried to tell her where she could print the coupon and she could get a free camera too, but she wasn't interested and told me she already had a camera. She must not have kids. I love disposable cameras. Every time a kid wanted to take a camera camping, or to school or anywhere else, I got them a disposable. Then, neither of us have to worry about it making it home.

Deal of the Day - 11/13/09

Possibly FREE Mars Candy Bars at Walgreens

Hurry this deal is good for today (Sunday 12/13/09) only!

Walgreens has an in-ad coupon for .39 Mars candy bars in this week's ad. Here is a scenario where you will get them for free.

Buy (2) Mars Candy Bars @ .89 Regular price = $1.78
first give the cashier you B1G1 coupon from 11/15/09 SS RP-. 89 (coupon expires 12/13/09!)
then hand the cashier your in-ad coupon (it will deduct .50 twice) -$1
= .11 overage

Cashiers get freaked out when the register totals a negative amount. Maker sure you are buying something else to cover the overage.

If your cashier insists on scanning the in-ad coupon first, you will end up with (2) candy bars for .39 - still a great deal.

Thanks, kas!

Deal of the Day - 12/11/09
