• Dove+Men Deodorant - The in-ad coupon for Dove doesn't work on this type of deodorant. (Thanks, Christene and ellamenopea!)

• Natures Bounty Vitamins & Supplements - When you use a Walgreens coupon on a B1G1 sale it effects how much money is deducted for the free product.  (Thanks, Denise)

• Pur-Absorb Iron Supplement - This has been found on the shelves in the St Louis area.  Word was that this product had been pulled from the shelves because of a recall.  But, the recall was only for certain batches.  (Thanks, KC!)

• Dove Clinical Antiperspirant/Deodorant - B1G1 packs have been spotted at some Walgreens around the nation.  Makes for a fantastic deal if you find them  (Thanks, Price Checking Chick's)

Walgreens Field Notes - Week of 9/25/11

A few comments from readers of what is happening with Walgreens -  see this week's Walgreens deals and coupon match-ups.

• Zarbee's - Check in the box for a $1 coupon.  Even if you missed printing the coupon last week,  it's still a money-maker with this coupons (Thanks, Staci!)

• Up 2 U Gum - The registers are not accepting both of the Walgreens coupons.  The cashier will need to enter one of them manually as a manufacturer coupon, and that means you will need a filler to make this work. (Thanks KC!)

• W Maxi Pads - This product is triggering a $0.50/1 W Brand Maxi Pad coupon at checkout.  You can use that to purchase another W Maxi Pads for a $0.50 money-maker. (Thanks, Beertishdadish!)

• TheraFlu - As of yesterday TheraFlu Multi-Symptom with Lipton Tea was not triggering the Register Reward.  Hopefully, Walgreens will get this problem fixed. (Thanks, CJ and Kelly!)

• Up 2 U Gum - Word is the October coupon book coupon was  not in Walgreens system yesterday, but is now working.  (Thanks, KC!)

Walgreens Field Notes - Week of 6/05/11

I didn't bring any coupons with me on our road trip.  I'm sure it's going to be hard driving by a Walgreens without stopping in.  But, with a ten hour drive home and the uncertainty of how coupon friendly or unfriendly a "foregn' store would be, I'll pass for this week at Walgreens.

• When you buy (2) Reach Advanced Design Toothbrush 2-packs, not only is it triggering the expected $3 Register Reward, but an additional $1 Register Reward from Reach is printing. (Thanks, KC!)
• Watch the register when your purchases are rung up.  It's reported Chex Mix and Glad Kitchen bags weren't ring up correctly at some stores.  (Thanks, Renee!)

• Scotch Packaging Tape - This coupon is beeping for everyone.  Even though the wording on the coupon says buy (1),  the coupon is coded to buy (2).   Best to use this coupon with a cashier you know is coupon friendly and will enter the coupon manually.

• Check you coupon stash - If you got the Have You Tried This Yet? coupon booklet from P&G, there are some coupons in it you might want to use this week at Walgreens.  $5/1 off Gillette ProGlide Razor,  $2/1 off Pantene, and $2/1 Pampers. (Thanks, pixie_bit and Emily!)

• Hershey's Register Reward  - There is a miss print in the ad.  Instead of issuing a RR for off your next order, if you purchase $10 of Hershey's you'll get a RR for $5 off you Next Hershey Purchase.

• Snickers Eggs  -  I purchased seven and use two $1 off 2 coupons; it works fine and no beeps at the register.  My store had a good supply of Snickers Eggs, so I didn't feel like I was clearing the shelves purchasing seven.

• April Coupon Book - The new month has started at Walgreens.  Make sure you pick up the new Coupon Book on the ad stand

• Coupons Beeping - The Cosmetic counter clerk was at lunch when I was shopping, so I had to check out at the front register.  Less coupons beep at that register at the store I shop, but my coupons for Edge still beeped.  Who knows what's up with all the beeping coupons?

Walgreens Field Notes - Week of 3/21/11

Almay  -  I stopped at three stores before I found one still stocking Almay.  The store's  in my area are remodeling/lowering the shelves, and the stores that have reset their cosmetic wall no longer carry the brand.

Almay Coupon - There was some discussion on how $2 Almay coupon in the Beauty Guide would affect the 30% discount, because it is a store coupon.  My cashier could not get the coupon to scan, so she manually entered it as a manufacturer coupon.  Did anyone else find Almay, did the coupon scan, and if did, is the 30% discount before or after the coupon?

FREE Snickers Eggs  -  Kelly in St Charles found Snickers Eggs for $0.50.  Use the $1 off 2 Mars Easter Product coupon in 3/20/11 RP to pick two up for free.  (Thanks, Kelly!)

• Entertainment Books -  At both mine and CJ's store, the Entertainment books were behind the counter.  If you don't see them out, make sure you ask.  Mine rang up at $35 before the coupon.

• Right Guard Deodorant - The B1G1 coupon in today's paper (3/13/11 PR) has a maximum value of $4.49.  Some of the Right Guards are price at $4.79.  Make sure you check prices before you buy, so you get both for free. (Thanks, Anonymous!)

• Right Guard Body Wash  - Is also on a B1G1 sale with a shelf price of $5.99.  Use the same B1G1 coupon as the deodorant (3/13/11 RP), but since the coupon is up to  $4.79, you won't get two free in this case.  (Thanks, pixie_bit!)

• Dial NutriSkin Lotion (21 oz) - The store I shop never got this product in.  But, since the disclaimer on the back page of Walgreens ad states, "Sale merchandise may not be available at all stores and only while supplies last," they have their bases covered.  Did anyone else find it at their store?

• Dial NutriSkin Lotion (1 oz) - No big bottles, but the store I was at had 1 oz. bottles on display at the beauty counter for $0.99.  The Dial NutriSkin Lotion coupons (3/13/11 RP) has no size restrictions, you can use the on the trial size.

• Excedrin - The only Excedrin PM I could find was priced $5.99.  Still not a bad deal with the RR

• Clearasil - I found Clearasil Daily Face Wash and Clean Pads priced at $3.79 with a $2 Register Reward with purchase. Use the $1 coupon (3/13/11 SS), pay $2.79 and get back $2 in RR.

• Gas-X Prevention - Is included in the $4.99 sale.  Use $4 coupon (12/12/10 SS) and pick it up for $0.99

• Frozen Food Clearance - I found Starbucks Ice Cream for $1.29

Walgreens Field Notes - Week of 3/06/11

• PediaCare - Prices at the store I shop were $6.49 to $10.49, but the Walgreens in my area of town have higher regular shelf prices than in other areas.  If any one find the $5.99 price point, please let us know.

• PediaCare - If you've purchased any child/baby care products at Walgreens lately, check our coupon stash.  Some people have received $2 off PediaCare coupons at checkout.  Thanks, Megan!

• Nabisco Crackers - The crackers on sale for $0.99 are 4 oz.  The coupon from 1/30/11 SS (that so many blogs are reporting to use) won't work because they are for 6 oz. or more.

• Vicks - The Vick's on sale with the in-ad coupon is for 10 or 12 ct.  The Sinex coupon from 2/27/11 P&G (that so many blogs are reporting to use) won't work on this because there is no 10 or 12 ct. Sinex.

• Entertainment Books - I know this is next week's deal, but the store I was at today doesn't have any in stock.  If you're planing on purchasing some next week, you might want to check at your store.   You might also want to talk to the manager and see if they can/will order books for next week's sale.

• Sinex - Register Reward is not printing today.  But the in-ad coupon for $5.49 NyQuil or DayQuil does work on Sinex NyQuil or Dayquil. Pick it up for $1.49 with the $4 coupon in 2/27/11 P&G.(Thanks, JB!)

• Motrin - Motrin PM is included in the Register Reward deal.  Buy (2) and use the $6 off 2 coupon from (1/09/11 SS), pay $0.00 and get a $3 Register Reward. 

• Motrin IB  - The as this week says in the words that Motrin IB Pain Relief, 20 ct. is Free after Register Reward.  I stopped at two stores - neither had 20 ct. on the self or even a place for the product.

• NasoGel - There were peelies on this product at the store I shop.  It was a small pick dot - it might be easy to miss.

• Get $15 in Coupons Offer - This offer in mentioned in this  weeks ad, but it doesn't give details.  But, Walgreens March Coupon book (available at the ad stand) has all the information of participating products and coupons you'll receive.

• Colgate - Besides the coupons I mentioned in the weekly deals, there is a $1 off Colgate Walgreens coupon in the Holiday/Winter Diabetes & You Magazine.  But, you'll need to hurry  - it expires on 2/28.11 (Thanks, Staci!)

• RepHresh Brilliant Tampons - The box I purchased had a $1 off coupon in it (on the page with the "instructions").  I used an Intenet printable coupon and it went through without any beeps.  Although, I read online that it's beeping for some.

• Goody Ouchless Elastics - Hip 2 Save is reporting some people are finding 27-packs of Goody Elastics on sale and they are still triggering the Register Reward.  No clearance at my store, but you might want to check at yours.

• Purex 3-in-1 - My store didn't have much in stock, or it might have gone fast.  If your store is out, ask for a rain check.  Since this is a B1G1 deal instead of a Register Reward offer, you'll still get the deal when the product comes in, if you have a rain check.  Coupon doesn't expire until 4/16/11

• Kleenex - Is triggering the Register Reward today.  The coupon attaches to only one product. Keep this in mind when you are figuring how many fillers you might need. (Thanks, Jamie R!)

• American Seed Packets - There is a nice selection of seeds - herbs, vegetables or flowers.  This is a great price at $0.20 each with the in-ad coupon.

• Walgreens Diaper  - Are on a B1G1 sale this week.  Prices range between $8.99 to $9.49 at the Walgreens'  in the St Louis area.  Buy (2) and use the $2 coupon from the Walgreens Infant Care Booklet (it will deduct $4 when you buy 2 packages).  Final price:  $2.50 to $2.75 each wyb 2 after coupon.  (Thanks, KC!)

• Neuragen PN - This is a monthly RR deal.  I saw this product on the shelf at several stores yesterday.  Ask at the pharmacy counter if they have any of the Diabetes & You Magazines.  Some of the stores still have some.

• Right Guard Body Wash  - There are $1 peelies on some of the bottles. Look for the Right Guard display pictured above.  The bottles on the shelf at the store I shop did not have the peelies, but the display did.  With the $1 peelies it makes them free this week after coupon and Register Reward. 

• Snickers Peanut Butter Squared  -  Walgreens does carry this variety of Snickers, but I couldn't find them, or a place they should have been on the shelf at the store I shop.  You might or might not have luck finding them at your store. (Thanks, Rhonda)

• Nabisco Cracker -   The packages on sale for $0.99 are 4 oz. single sleeves.  The $1 off 2 coupon from 1/30/11 SS, that so may blogs are reporting to use, is for 6 oz. or more.

• Arnicare - The$2 printable coupon is beeping for everyone.  Your cashier will have to push it through. I hope you have a coupon friendly cashier.

• Blink Tears - Work is there might be $4 peelies on some boxes.  I check at the store I visited.  No peelies, but they were well stocked.

• DiGiorno Pizza - Signs at my store the state 2/$10 price and $1 Register Reward is good through 2/25/11.

• Maalox -  Prices at my store are running $4.49 to $6.74.  If you still have $5 Maalox coupons from 1/09/11 SS, this is a nice little money-maker.  Buy (5) Maalox at $6.74, use (5) $5 coupons, get $10 RR = $1.30 money-maker.  Even better deal if buy the $4.49 bottles and can get the cashier to adjust the coupon to the price of the product.

• Gold Bond Body Wash - Some stores have Gold Bond Body Washes with $1 peelie coupon on them. (Thanks, Anonymous)

• Almay - Wild for Wags is reporting, if you can find Almay products on clearance, they are a money-maker. I checked at a store and they didn't have any Almay marked down.  But, check at your store.  You might find they do.

• Sinex - Is included in the Vick's NyQuil or DayQuil Register Reward offer. 

• Kraft Homestyle Mac & Cheese - You don't have to buy multiples of two to make this deal work.  Each Kraft Homestyle is ringing up for $1.67 and the coupon in Walgreens January coupon book is deducting $0.50 per item. (Thanks, KC!)

• Raisin Bran - The 15oz. Raisin Bran is the one on sale, so the printable coupon works.

• Dawn - Walgreens still doesn't carry the Dawn Hand Renewal.  The $0.25 coupon is the only coupon that will work for this offer.

Walgreens Field Notes - Week of 1/09/11

I headed to Walgreens this morning  to check on Stayfree and Reach prices.   My store is always higher than the online prices and today's items were no different.

• Reach Floss - Shelf price: $4.29  I ended up buying (2) Reach Total Care and (2) Reach Total Care with Whitening.  Two of them rang up at $4.29 and two rang up $2.79,  and of course, I can't tell from the receipt which ones were which. The Walgreens in-ad coupon for $2 off coupon deducted $6 when I purchased 4.  The coupon states limit 3 - I don't think I've ever seen an in-ad coupon enforce the limit automatically.

• Reach Toothbrush - Shelf price: $4.99

• Stayfree Maxi Pad - Shelf price: $6.79

• Sinex - There is no Sinex 10-12 ct.  But, Sinex 20 ct. is on sale for $5 and included in the RR deal.   Deal Idea: buy (4) Sinex = $20, use (4) $4 coupons -$16, pay $4, get $10 RR.  Final cost: $6 Money-Maker (Thanks, Janet!)
