Kmart Deals 4/19/09 - 4/25/09

In the St. Louis Metro area, Kmart this week will triple a manufacturer's coupon up to a .75 value and double a manufacturer's coupons from a .76 to $4 value.

I stopped at the Kmart on Lemay Ferry in South County yesterday. They have signs up everywhere announcing they are now accepting internet printable coupons. I inquired if they would be doubling and tripling inernet coupons during the promotion and a Customer Service clerk told me yes. She couldn't tell me if this was the policy at every Kmart, so ask your local Kmart what they will be doing.

I don't know whether to get excited about this promotion or not. Kmart's regular prices are high. In other parts of the country, Kmart has doubled coupons on a semi-regular basis, and I've read all sort of problems shoppers have had with Kmart - coupons not ringing up correctly, prices increasing the day double coupons started, shelves cleared of any really good deals before the stores opened, etc. But on the other hand, there could be some really good deals.

Remember:

1. Limit of 4 like coupons
2. Limit 25 coupons per customer per day
3. B1G1 coupons are excluded
4. No overage - you will not get credit if the coupon amount is more than the product

My advice: If you are going to Kmart for this sale, take any high value coupon you have for something you might need and see what you can find for a good price.
