Aveeno Trial Size Lotion (1 oz) - This item in not triggering the $7 ECB.  CVS's ad states "Aveeno Moisturizing Lotion or Cream, 0.5-18 oz.".  The info in the ad might have been a misprint.  CVS might post a correction to the ad, or you manager might honor the ad and force the ECB.  (Thanks, Shannon!)

Another Aveeno deal - The 2.5 oz. cream sells for $3.59.  Buy (2) and use your $3/2 coupon from 10/30/11 SS insert. Pay $4.18 and get a $7 ECB.  Sorry, the coupon excludes 2.5 oz.  (Thanks, CJ!)

Quarterly ECB Rewards - Make sure you scan your card at the Coupon Machine.  Quarterly earnings for your winter spending are now printing.  I got a whopping $1, but as everyone knows, a $1 ECB can take you a long way at CVS.

Oral-B Manual Toothbrush - The limit is (2) on this item.  You can use the B1G1 coupon from 3/13/11 RP on this product too.  (Thanks, em!)

Super Poligrip Free - I looked for the .75 oz. size in hopes I could use my coupon for a FREE one in the 3/27/11 RP insert, but I couldn't find this size at the CVS I shop.

Physician's Formula  - There are (2) ECB deals for Physician's Formula this week. One for the Organic Wear Mascara and one for any other product (except clearance items).
UPDATE: The Organic Wear Mascara ECB works only on Jumbo, which is a shinny green tube.  See a picture at Amith19 Deal Wrold.

Physician's Formula Money Maker - Reader Kelly in West County found Concealer Stick for $6.39.  Use a $1 coupon from (3/20/11 SS or 2/27/11 SS), get back a $7 ECB, Final cost: $1.61 Money Maker. (Thanks, Kelly!)

Physician's Formula Rebate - To submit the rebate, you need to find a specially marked product.  I haven't heard of anyone finding the specially marked products in St Louis.

Starbucks Coffee - Is on sale for $6.99 - not a bad deal if you are loyal to Starbucks, and get the coupon.  Pick it up for $5.99 after coupon.

• Magic Coupon Machine  - On Sunday, I receive:  .50 off any Dove Single Candy Bar, $1 off 5 CVS Brand Allergy Items, and .25/2 Snickers, M&M's PB, 3 Musketeers or Milky Way singles.

• $1.50 off Diet Coke 12-pack Coupon - Be on the lookout for this coupon hanging around the sodas.  But, you'll have to hurry, it expires on 3/15/11.

• 2 Liter Coke Products - My store was not well stocked on these.  If your store doesn't have much in stock, ask the manager to order more from the local distributor.  Remember, you don't have to purchase all of the ECB deal in one transaction.  Your ECB is triggered when you hit the limit whether it is in one transaction or several.

• Irish Spring Deodorant -  I haven't heard of any store in the area that got this product in. Make sure you ask for a raincheck.

• Pepperidge Farm Cookies - Milano's  are on sale for $1, use the .75 coupon from (2/13/11 SS) to pick them up for $0.25.  The cookies on sale are in a little box and not the typical Pepperidge Farm bag.

• Theraflu - The one on sale is the trial size.  I found the packages hanging on a hook close to the other cold medicines.

• Magic Coupon Machine  - I receive today: $1 off Dove Easter Candy Bags (7.94 -8.87 oz) or Bunnies (4.5 oz), also $1 off Kellogg's Cereal  

• Kellogg's Cereal - No Kellogg's cereal on sale this week, but hang on to the coupon if you get one.  Kellogg's Raisin Bran Crunch, Frosted Flakes, Mini Wheats or Special K is on sale next week for $2.50.  This CVS coupon and a manufacturer coupon will make for a good deal

• Gas X Prevention - I found Gas X Prevention (20 ct)  for $6.29.  I was quite surprised. The regular shelf prices at the store I shop are usually quite a bit higher than the online price.

• Dove Men+Care Deodorant - The unscented variety was $2 at the store I shop - other varieties were regular price.  There is a  $2 off Dove Men + Care Deodorant printable coupon available.  It says , "Redeem at Walmart,"  but it is a manufacturer coupon.  You might or might not be able to use this at your CVS, ask the manager on duty if you can use it. The price wasn't marked on the shelf.  I would suggest you price check any of this product you want to buy at the coupon machine before you check out.  (Thanks, Angie at Short on Cents!)

I had intended to post this yesterday when I got home from CVS, but I had such a headache, I had to take some Excedrin Migraine and go to bed.  My shopping trip was great - I don't know why I had such a headache.

• Magic Coupon Machine  - Nothing exciting for me this week.  $1 off any CVS Brand Hair Care product, excludes trial and $1 off 2 Gold Emblem Nuts

• Crest - Look for Crest Pro-Health 4.2 oz. on clearance.  It will still trigger the $3.29 ECB (Thanks, Maureen!)

• Hershey's Pieces  - On sale this week 2/$5.  Use the CVS coupon for $2 off from the coupon machine last week, and the $2 off 2 manufacturer coupon from 1/30/11 SS to pick up 2 bags for .50 each. Or if you were at CVS twice and have two of the coupons from the machine, it makes them FREE. (Thanks, Anonymous!)

• Eggs - On sale for $0.99.  There is a .55 off 2 coupon for eggs on SmartSource.com. When CVS has eggs for 0.99 they run out of stock quickly.  Make sure you ask for a raincheck, or ask when they get more eggs in. (Thanks, Anonymous!)

• Physicians  Formula Cosmetics - Spend $10 get $7 ECB this week.  Eye Booster sells for $10.99.  Use the $1 off coupon from 2/27/11 SS and submit the Try Me Free rebate for a nice little money-maker.  (Thanks, Maureen!)

• Valentine Candy - 90% off at the store I shop.  Maybe that's why I had such a headache.

CVS Field Notes - Week of 2/20/11

• Magic Coupon Machine - On Sunday I received: $1 off Dove Chocolate, $2 off Advil Tablets, Caplets, or Liqui-Gels (80 ct. +), $2 offf Hershey's or Reese's Pieces, Drops and Minis (8 oz), $1 off $5 or more of CVS Brand Cough and Cold Items.

•  EOS Lip Balm - I Heart CVS is reporting an unadvertised ECB deal on this product.  EOS Lip Balm $2.99 get a $2.99 ECB (limit 1).  My store didn't have any EOS products in so I couldn't test the deal. (Thanks, CJ!)

• Clearance  Hair Products - My store had some varieties of L'Oreal Vive Pro clearance for 75% off.  It made them $1.24.  Your store might or might not have them on clearance, but clip the $1 coupon from 2/20/10 RP just in case they do.  There were some other brands on 75 clearance also.  If you have $1 coupons for hair care products - take them with you to CVS.

• Cadbury Egg - My ECB didn't print.  If you purchase this product make sure you check to see if yours printed before you leave the store.

• Reducing ECBs -  There has been chatter in comments if CVS has changed their policy about reducing ECBs.  I spoke to an assistant managers today at the store I shop and asked if there had been change in policy.  He didn't think so - he hadn't heard anything about it. 

• Valentine Candy - Marked at 50% off today.  I will go to 75% off, but I'm not sure when.  Check at your store when you're there. The $1 off Dove Chocolate coupon from the Coupon Machine, could make for a great deal.

• Magic Coupon Machine  - Sunday I received: $2 off any Excedrin Migraine or PM, $1 off Starbucks Coffee, and $1 off Snickers Peanut Butter Fun Size

• Excedrin Migraine or PM  -  I found 8 ct. of both of these products at the store I shop for $0.99 each.  The manager told me he thought they were sizes they normally wouldn't carry, but were left around from sales around the holidays.  He had no problems with my using my coupon from the Coupon Machine to buy (2) boxes.  The coupon went through without cashier intervention. 

• L'Oreal $5/2 coupon - Be aware, this coupon is coded for cashier intervention.  It will beep, but that doesn't mean that it's not for the correct products.  The cashier is suppose to check and see (2) L'Oreal Cosmetic face products were purchased.

• Magic Coupon Machine  - Sunday I received: $3 off any Cosmetics purchase of $10 or more, $1 off 2 New Hershey's Drops or Reese's Minis, and $1 off 2 Gold Emblem Snacks or Cookies.

• Nivea Lip Care  -  As usual, the prices I found at the store I shop are different from the online prices.  The Nivea lip I found ranged in price from $1.29 for Kiss of Smoothness to $4.19 for Lip Shine, with other varieties for $2.99.  The B1G1 coupon in 2/06/11 RP is good up to $3.99.  For this week's deal: buy (4) of the $2.99 varieties = $11.96, use (2) B1G1 coupon, pay $5.98, get $5 ECB.  Final cost would be .98 for 4 Nivea lip care products.

•  Maybelline Cosmetics -   I couldn't not find any product priced even close to the $3.99 online price.  But, the store I was at is redoing their cosmetics wall and I'm not sure all of their product was out.  Have you found any Maybelline that would make for a good ECB deal?

• Dove Visible Care Body Wash - The store I shop has two bottles left, and they were behind the front counter.  Several readers are reporting that their stores are out, and were told it is not a product that CVS will continue to carry.  Ask the manager at your store if they will substitute another Dove Body Wash, since it is in their ad and not available to purchase.

CVS Field Notes - Week of 1/30/11

I have quite a few additional notes about CVS's sales this week.  See this week's deals and coupon match-ups HERE.
 

• Magic Coupon Machine  - Today I received. $5 off 2 Revlon Cosmetics, $4 off Hershey 40 oz. Large bag, and $1 off 2 CVS Brand Skin Care items.

• Revlon Cosmetics - There were still some Revlon items on 75% clearance.  I purchased (2) Lip Gloss for $2.12 each and the $5 coupon went through with no beeps.  They both rang up at the 75% off clearance price and not the buy (1) get (1) 50% off.  There was also some clearance Revlon nail polish that was on sale for a little over $1. 

• Coke or Kraft Products -   Again this week the limit is higher than (1).  I've heard the limit is 2 this week with a limit of 4 for the past two weeks.  I'm not sure I totally understand this limit.  If you push the limit and another ECB doesn't print for you, you can always return the products.

• Physicians Formula Cosmetics - The lowest price item I found over the $10 requirement for the $7 ECB was blush for $10.99.  If you have the 10% off Beauty Club ECB this would be an ideal time to use it.  (Thanks, Lynda!)

• Physicians Formula Cosmetics - Reader Anne found several Physician Formula products on clearance, even though they were not tagged that way.  Eye Definer Automatic Eye pencil - $1.62, Healthy Wear Pressed Bronzer - $3.75, 3-in-1 Custom Eye Enhancing Tool - $2.47 and Plum Portion Mascara - $2.69.  They triggered the $7 ECB when she purchased $10 of clearance items.  (Thanks, Anne!)

• Eggs - $0.99 this week. I forgot to include them in the weekly write up.

• Aussie/Herbal Essence  and Dove Deodorant Limits - Word is from A Full Cup forums that the limit on these items are higher than (1).  But, you might have to purchase the Aussie/Herbal Essence products in two per transaction to trigger the ECB. I didn't purchase either of these items so I can't confirm the info.

CVS Field Notes - Week of 1/23/11

• Magic Coupon Machine  - Again, nothing too exciting for me. $1 off any Combos, 7 oz. and $1 off any Snickers Fun Size Bag.

• DiGiorno Pizza -  It's on a B1G1 sale.  Priced $6.99 at the store I shop.  With the $3 off 2 coupon, it makes them $2 each!  Stock up price for me.

• Coke Products - Word is, from the forums on A Full Cup, the limit is higher than 1.  I did the deal once yesterday and my receipt says "amount needed to earn reward $15.00", so the deal seems to be a limit 2.  But, others on the forum are reporting it's a limit 4. 

• Crest Pro-Health - Word is, from Simply CVS, the limit is 2

• Magic Coupon Machine - Nothing exciting for me.  $1 off any 4 Snickers, Milky Way, 3 Musketeers or Twix single bars and $1 off Kudos Bars (I don't even know what those are.)

• Raisin Bran - 15 oz. is on sale for $1.79.  Use .70 off coupon from HERE to make them $1.09 each

• Sinex - Sinex DayQuil 20ct. LiquiCaps are included in the Vick's ECB deal. On sale for $4.99, use the $4 coupon from 12/26/10 P&G, get a $1 ECB.  Final cost: FREE.  (limit 1 offer) Not a money-maker like Walgreens, but if you have an extra coupon, you might want to pick it up.

• P&G Products ECB - If you are going to do this deal,  look for bonus packs of Charmin with 20 double rolls instead of 16.  They are included in the ECB offer.

• Blink Tears - Look for boxes with $4 peelies on them.  Makes them free after coupon and ECB.  (Thanks, Beth!)

• Clearance - Some  Dove Hair Care products are on 75% off clearance.  Also some Aveeno products on clearance too.  Check your coupon stash for coupons. (Thanks, Beth!)

• Christmas Candy & Merchandise - GONE  I head the manager tell someone they had shipped all the Christmas items back to the warehouse.

CVS Field Notes - Week of 1/09/11

Great shopping at CVS this week. The store I shop had almost everything on my list in stock.

• Maalox is a money-maker At the store I shop, Maalox Advanced Regular is $5.89 and Maalox Advanced Maximum  $6.49.  Both of them will trigger the ECB. 

• Magic Coupon machine is spitting out a coupon for $.50 off a Dove Single Bar.  Dove Single Bars are included in the Snickers Single FREE after ECB deal. 

• King Hershey's Drops or Reese's Cup Minis - The clerks & I looked everywhere for these products.  They don't think they've received them.  I got a rain check.

• Pepsi 12-packs are shown on the front page of the ad and again with the other Pepsico products on page 3.   The ad shows two different offer numbers.  I asked the assistant manager about this.  He told me he called a few other stores and no one seemed to know if it was really two different offers.  I'll keep you posted if I hear what's going on. UPDATE:  Pepsi is inlcuded in (2) offers.  (Thanks, Kelly in West County!)

• Christmas Candy & Merchandise - 75% off.  The store on Gravois and Chippewa has lots of candy, gift wrap and bows still in stock.
