Schnucks opened their new store in Des Peres and are advertising a few additional Grand Opening deals good at several West County Schnucks.
The General Mills Catalina deal at Schnucks is even better than advertised. Not only do your receive a $3 Catalina when you purchase 5 participating products, but when you purchase 3 Green Giant Vegetables in Sauce you get an additional $1 Catalina.
My "best buys" are items $1 or less, meat for $2 or less a pound and a few other items that are at rock bottom prices. When I keep my shopping list to these items, I can bring home a ton of groceries for very little money.
Remember when shopping at Target: You can use a manufacturer and Target issued coupon on the same product.
Schnucks and Shop 'n Save both have quite a few General Mills products in their ads this week. I'm going to shop at Schnucks for these items, because they are also included in a Catalina Deal.
Edit: I've added another internet printable coupon for Green Giant vegetables and I've found out that not only are the Green Giant vegetables included in the General Mill Catalina, but they are included in another $1 Catalina also. See details HERE.
Remember:
1. Schnucks doubles coupons .40 and less in the St. Louis area.
2. Limit of 15 coupons doubled.
3. Ask for a rain check if they are out of a sale item.
4. On a B1G1 sales you have to buy two to get the deal.
5. Items on a 10/$10 sale ring up $1 each. You don't have to buy 10.

Walgreens has an additional deal on Theraful that isn't advertised. An $8 Register Reward is printing when you buy three Theraflu. The internet printable for Theraflu is no longer available, but even without it the deal is a money-maker.
We have two potluck picnics this week. Ever since picnic season started, I've taken Rice Krispie treats to every group picnic I've gone to. I love having the all-but-free Rice Krispies, and even better, I don't have to think about what to take. I wonder how long it will take before anyone notices I always bring these? Or maybe they already call me the Rice Krispie Treat lady.

DEAL$ and Dollar Tree sell the Sunday Post-Dispatch for $1. The early edition is published on Saturday and it includes all the coupon inserts. And they usually still have Sunday papers left on Monday. Find the Deal$ or Dollar Tree closest to you.
My low out of pocket expense was helped with the $5 Catalina coupon I earned last week, but I won't have a Catalina for next week.
