Schnucks
Two trips to Schnucks this week. I sent my husband on the first trip with a very specific list, except for soup beans. I thought everyone purchased the cheapest bean, because bean are bean. But, no not everyone. My husband brought home bean with soup seasoning. What? He even bought two bags of those expensive beans. Good thing I do most of the shopping.

I went to Dierbergs last Sunday to get Chicken breast and Heluva Good! Dip. They were out of both, so I ended up with rain checks instead. But, I did get my Fuji apples. Before sales & coupons: $12.84

Aldi
I'm adding dog treats to my list of what I buy at Aldi. At one point, I had so many boxes of treats I didn't think I'd ever run out. But I did. They are only $0.99 at Aldi and the dog doesn't complain about cheap treats.Comparable Schnucks price: $16.94

For those who don't read my blog on a regular basis, my splurge funds are the difference between what I've actually spent and my $50 budget. I use it for those items I never find on sale, don't have coupons for, or when I'm over budget.
