Saved 92% This Week

This was a great week of shopping. The money-making glucose meters at Walgreens skew my savings numbers at bit, but it would still have been a great week without them.

Shop 'n Save
I love $10 off $50 Thursdays. I combined Thursday's deal with a $5 off $50 coupon from the Entertainment book and $15 in Catalinas I received last week. Add in some coupons, and I was beginning to think - they might owe me!

Total before coupon & sales: $74.91
Total spent: $5.93
Total saved: $68.88 for 92% savings

Schnucks
I saved a bunch because of the Extra Ad; I hope these weekend sales continue. The Green Works Catalina is a fantastic deal, and it's even better with the coupon for a free cleaner.

Before coupon & sales: $55.84
Total spent: $10.53
Total saved: $45.31

Johnny's Market and Sappington Farmers' Market
The cranberries were FREE at Sappington Farmers' Market with the peelie coupon I had from Ocean Spray juice. Johnny's tends to put pork tenderloin on sale for $1.99 lb. about every six weeks. I make the special trip to take advantage of this price.

Comparable Schnucks price: $27.04
Total spent: $9.10
Total saved: $17.94 for 66% savings

Aldi
I love Marzetti caramel dip and was so surprised when I found it for 99 cents. And then, I checked out the fresh produce and they had Fuji apples for 19 cents. I came home from Aldi's a happy girl.

Comparable Schnucks price: $24.03
Total spent: $13.15
Total saved: $20.88 for 61%

Walgreens
I had to take advantage of the glucose meter money-maker. I hear Entertainment Books are on sale again next week at Walgreens. The overage from the meters will almost pay for my Shop 'n Save coupons in the book.
