Yesterday, SUPERVALU agree to sell five of it's grocery chains: Albertson, Acme, Jewel-Osco, Shaws and Star Market.
Shop 'n Save and Save-A-Lot will remain under the SUPERVALU umbrella along with; Cub in Minnesota, Hornbacher's in North Dakota, Farm Fresh and Shoppers on the East Coast.
So, what does this mean for the St Louis shopper? According to Coupons in the News, shoppers at the company's remaining chains may see lower price. Let's hope we do.
