We are a man down at our house, since our oldest left for college. I hadn't planned on reducing my weekly food budget when he left because he was home so seldom for meals. Between school, work and his social life, it felt like he was only home to sleep, study and get some laundry done. I didn't realise until this week how much food he consumed as he was passing through. We still have chips, cookies and crackers left from the week before! I might have to reconsider my budget or put shipping costs into it.

I had a $10 Catalina coupon that was expiring on Thursday, and I kept trying to get a list together to take advantage of the $10 off $50. I finally decided to just spend my Catalina and not bother with anything else.
