I'm calling this my Ice Storm Cometh Menu. I don't think there is anything better than a pot of soup on the stove on a cold blustery winter day.
And, if we lose our electricity we'll eat ham sandwiches. I might also check the sky for smoke coming out of a neighbors chimney. I could try to barter a box of cereal for an hour or two in front of their fireplace.
Monday: Ham, baked potatoes, peas, fresh pineapple
Tuesday: Baked Potato Soup, apple slices with carmel
Wednesday: Senate Bean Soup, cornbread
Thursday: Ham & cheese omelets, hash browns, orange juice
Friday: Pasta con Broccoli, garlic bread, fresh fruit
Saturday: Swedish Meatballs with Cream Gravy, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, veggie
Sunday: Chili, cornbread
